Toast

Growing up, avocado on toast - baguettes to be precise, was a staple. For breakfast, or as a quick summer snack, I have fond memories of devouring avocados. 

This paintings is part of my ongoing collection of still life, depicting inanimate objects, and symbolizing the passage of time.
