is a multidisciplinary artist who was born and raised in Haïti.

At a young age, Francesca was exposed to various forms of art from paintings in her home, to the craftsman’s work in the streets of Port-au-Prince, the vibrant colours of wall graffitis or the diversity of vendors at art festivals. What started as curiosity as a child turned into a deep passion for crafting and a long-standing dream to create art.

In 2020, Francesca officially launched Koukatelier, an arts and crafts online shop. Doing that in the midst of a pandemic and growing awareness of racial injustices was a way to bring some light and joy into our daily lives.

Koukatelier is a space of creativity, freedom & expression of self.
